Florian Albert is the new Managing Director of Scansonic

Since 1 February 2019, Dr Florian Albert has been at the head of Scansonic MI, a succesful specialist in laser-based joining systems and member of B.I.G. . The graduated engineer had been leading the Scansonic application centre since 2011, successfully converting it into high-tech test labs for modern laser technology. Before that, he worked as a development engineer at Bayerisches Laserzentrum.

“I’m looking forward to my new position in a company whose products and employees I endorse and support 100%. I am convinced that Scansonic will continue on its successful path,” says Florian Albert about his appointment. As the Managing Director, he will be responsible for the strategic orientation of the company, the expansion into new markets and the development of strategic cooperation and key accounts. The 41-year-old plans to strengthen and expand the market-leading position of the company in the automotive sector. At the same time, he wants to systematically drive new developments that are already in the pipeline.
