Four work stations with different robots and a linear axis have been brought into operation, all with access to the TruDisk 5001 laser. These new products have been presented as part of our Scansonic Application Days. They will be used and tested in selected processes such as laser and arc welding, soldering, and hardening.

Laser processing heads require various gases. Pressurized air is for example needed for the operation of the cross jet and the crash sensor, as well different laser processes depend on all sorts of shielding gases.

Since the middle of 2009, it has been possible to fit the ALO1 with the optional Q-LV adjustment lens. Starting in February 2011, this lens will be built into the new version 1.4. This version includes an additional cover glass integrated in the bottom lens cover. During factory operations, the second cover glass results in improved safety.
